Been trying to fill out my top 10 of producers. I always had the top 5 locked in but never gave too much thought to the next 5. But what's good with Diamond D? This dude had a CLASSIC album from senior year in high school with "Stunts, Blunts and Hip Hop", part of the world famous "Diggin in the Crates", gave Fat Joe a CLASSIC BANGER with Flow Joe, gave Sadat X and Jamar their dopest song with Punks Jump Up and to prove those 2 could make it without Puba and has produced for everybody from Pharoahe, Mos Def and the Fugges to KRS , Alkaholiks and Busta...but does he make YOUR top 10? Diamond D has to be up there...it's really hard to say where but there's no denying his relevance. Like you said...The Brand Nubian ordeal was proof enough. If nothing else, he's iin the top 5 or 10 most slept on.
