I'll name a couple cuz I got like a million:

Seeing Freestyle from the Arsonists in Amsterdam: Being able to roll herb on the bar and not worry about the bouncers being dicks probably helped. Meeting Freestyle was cool. And them jumping down and rhyming in the crowd with cordless mics was dope.

El tha Sensei with J-Live, Ugly Duckling, and People Under the Stairs: This was dope cuz El wasn't even billed and he came on as a surprise. He didn't play "Wrong Side of da Tracks" even though I was trying to get him to give the graff heads props, but he made it up by playing it when I saw him in NY like 2 weeks later. I missed Ugly Duckling and PUTS cuz I was puffing wit EL; so, that was cool. Still wish I could have seen Artifacts back in tha day though.

The jazz club where I met Q-Tip: I guess it wasn't really a show but I was chillin at a Jazz club in NY and met Q-Tip which was pretty cool. Feel bad that I don't remember who the Jazz band was but they were really good too.

MF DOOM wit Micranauts, Eydea & Abilities, Soul Position, Brother Ali, Atmosphere: This is my most recent favorite show cuz I've never seen MF rock the mic before and I really feel that cat. Show was really good overall. Everyone put on a good show and it was lots of fun.

I guess I don't really have a favorite show cuz I've been to a million and they all have been unique and fun in their own ways...

MF getz canceld all the time here, he's a biatsj!

Damn that sucks, but I bet it is a little harder for him to get over there and maybe its not his fault but the promoter's. Maybe they are putting out the flyers before he is actually gauranteed. Otherwise maybe he is a bitch, I never met him; so, I can't say.

Had to be Cypress hillz, and I wasn't even supposed to go.. I remember it was at the Paladium in NY, The same night O.J. ran.. They stop the whole concert to watch O.J. Run on Big screen.. It was tight.. The whole crowd screamin "Go O.J. Go O.J." Might not be the tightest show I've ever seen.. But I will never forget it...

Where were U the night OJ ran..

This last weekend I checked out the Gza with Brother Ali and Vast aire. Vast aire opened the show and personally I wasnt feeling his performance all that much....brother ali followed him and actually put on a lil bit better show than vast aire, but once the gza came on he stole the show. When breaker breaker came on the floor turned into a giant mosh pit...best live mc ive ever seen

I saw the GZA and Killah Priest live back in '95 or '96 (can't remember) and it was dope! It was the middle of winter and Priest had on shorts, lol. Anyway it was a good show, doing the cuts on his LP, and other Wu stuff. Then he invited a few people up from the crowd cause as he put it "I wanna see a battle".

The best show I've seen overall was The Roots, but KRS is a very close 2nd. The Roots were on stage for like an hour and a half! Each member did a little solo for a few minutes, and together they did a bunch of cover songs. And of course Rahzel went nuts with his beatboxing/singing routine, hehe.

I also saw Maestro Fresh Wes back in '89 but let's not get into that.

I'm gonna say the same thing P_Gyal said. A cat from Toronto, Canada, Kardinal Offishal. I dont know if he's known elsewhere, but that was a great show cuz he was actually speaking with the public between the songs, making jokes and all... and the beats were pumpin too. Load of fun!

We dont get many hiphop shows here in mtl, that's a shame!
