Hows it going everyone, im glad to be a part of a new community and see what kind of value i can add. Ive been making beats since 2012, started off with an mpc 2500 with the fat pads, then moved over the maschine, didnt really like it and now im on ableton. I make more mellow beats, i feel it fits my personality haha i recently lost my job but got a job interview this upcoming tuesday, so in the mean time im putting all my effort into this. You get tired of feeling like your stuck sometimes, i want to progress with my sound.

Welcome to the ILL! How do you find the transition of going to Ableton compared to the MPC and Maschine?

it was a learning experience, i love the feel of the mpc and having the control in my hands versus clicking everything on ableton, but the opportunities ableton gives you is so much more(for me) i do more e-digging now, i still head to the record store every so often. Im still learning new things about ableton everyday, vst plug ins, how to properly set the EQ, and so on. I have a loooonng way to go haha
