I admitt - i did involve producers who im interested in - but didnt we all? I suppose I should have focused purely on the greatest influencers possible as more of a whole.
Anyway, I give up - you win.

wha-? hey, it wasnt about winning or losing! it was a topic (a VERY debatable one at that) and i wasnt trying to jump on your picks, because your opinions are your opinions. i just saw it from a different light, thats all. you shouldnt have had to focus on a certain thing, but as for myself that was my logic for choosing who i did. hard feelings? it wasnt like we were goin at it, so yeah, no hard feelings! there never were any.

chingy is influential because now every "around the way" rapper can now get signed thanks to him.

Is this sarcasm because there's alot of "regular round the way" type guys who blew up and got rich long before him.

no, its not sarcasm. i'm talkng about the fact that EVERYONE i meet says that they rap, and a lot of them have the same skill and vocal abilities........ in other words, not much of either one. everyone swears that they are "hot" i cant count how many guys i have TRIED to work with that werent even remotely good, but they still have a chance at a deal because it really doesnt take a good artist to generate sales, merely a marketable one.

I must admit I'm a little disappointet with Primo and his often jacking of whole loops for his beats. With "Skillz" I don't even know if he added drums, he might just have filtered, compressed, eq'ed the sample...
