Yo! For those who need Tech help on various.....

Production Hardware(i.e. Akai, Yamaha, Korg, Ensoniq Series Sequencers/Samplers).....

Production Software (i.e. Stienberg, Sonic Foundry/Sony, Cakewalk)

Engineering/Mixing (i.e. Plug-ins, modules, Tricks, or Tips)

Track Production (i.e. Mathematics, Formulas...ect.)

Please feel free to ask! I've been Producing & engineering for 8 years and have Learned from some of the Illest heads (i.e. Korupt's Production Team, King T. & J-Swift from the "Alkaholiks").

It takes a lot of dedication and persistance to develope a decent ear for music production & engineering! I'm more than willing to share the things I've picked up over the years! Holla! iiaght!

Ok how about this, I have heard from a very reliable source that because I use reason I cant use vst's, is there any way around this? Because it would be convenient to be able to use other softwares that can give brightness to my track or get some real good virtual synths to use.

Sounds to me like Flip prob. doesnt really fuck with software studios if hes been doin this for 8 strong yrs. Im guessin hes most likely layin tha beat with a groovebox of some sort like tha classic mpc....I would assume that anyone seasoned that much prob doesnt jus use reason or fruity, not sayin its not a possibility...but i use reason right now cuz im broke as fuck....If your dropin tracks with kurupts crew and tha alcoholics than you prob. got some descent gear besides a nice computer with a lot of appz?

IF THAT DOESN'T WORK AND YOU HAVE A LEGITAMATE COPY OF REASON YOU CAN GET SPECIALIZE TECH HELP AT WWW.PROPELLORHEADS.SE ALSO IF YOUR USING "NATIVE INSTRUMENTS" SYNTH MODULES TRY HITTIN UP WWW.NATIVEINSTRUMENTS.COM FOR SOME TECH HELP.

WITH FRUITY LOOPS..... THIS IS A FUN PROGRAM FOR BEGINNERS, BUT IF IT'S FREAKED RIGHT IT CAN BE A GOOD PRODUCTION TOOL!
F. LOOPS IS REAL USER FRIENDLY AND IF YOU HAVE THE BASIC "MATHEMATICS" OF MUSIC(i.e. BARS, COUNTS, QUANTINIZATION) YOU HAVE THE FUNDAMENTAL TOOLS TO OPERATE THE APPLICATION!

My understanding was that Reason will not support the use of 3rd party VSTi's, and Rewire is a technology use to link programs like Reason with host programs like Cubase. As you are a genius with these programs, please clarify this for me and the others on the site.

And please refrain from typing in all caps.

Goldy C,

Cubase is professional MIDI/audio sequencer; Reason is a software synth with basic sequencing.

I would want to Rewire Reason into Cubase to mix its audio with my own audio tracks and MIDI from my external hardware synths.

To my knowledge there are no 'tracks' in Reason to load my own wav files into, like a 5 minute vocal, and there is no way to route MIDI from its sequencer to an external hardware MIDI interface; with Cubase I can do this.

Hey Flip - Im not quite up on why you think Im tha bad guy here?
When i posted tha comments that i did - i had no negative intentions and didnt try to project any type of hierarchy above tha rest of tha crowd....And for your information i asked you to go to my link out of a genuine respect for tha fact that youve been doin this way longer than i have and i jus wanted some feedback, you dig?...And NO i still havent clicked your link yet but ill hit it up eventually.
As for my earlier comments - to clarify a little so you dont think i hate on everybody that trys to help others out cuz thats not my steeze, ill just explain in short what i meant.

Ok...Basically, i have talked to and also met some really talented and experienced individuals - none with mad fame, but they all had certain qualities that i have observed and also respect very much since they are striving to be good at tha same thing i am....So anyway - from seeing what goes on, on tha level above what im doing - it seemed to be a re-occuring thing that everyone of them all tended to use HARDWARE such as tha mpc etc...assuming tha old assumption that has been argued a 1000 times here - that for a real professional sound you usually should have some nice hardware -.....which, most of tha cats on this site really dont have yet cuz theyre broke like i am.
So...NO i dont know you, and i surely dont know what you use to make your music on, and obviously i shouldnt have assumed that your a hardware guy - IT WAS A HARMLESS COMMENT THOUGH. ....Jus figured since you said youve been doin this for 8 yrs and have worked with some really dope producers in tha game - and NO i didnt mean that you LITERALLY droped tracks with tha LIKS etc....I jus meant that you worked around them and what not.
