Have any of yall heard of this or do any of yall have this program??? My homie was talkin to me about it and supposedly he's got the program loaded into his triton... Just wanted to know if any of yall have heard of it or have the program??? If i could get my hands on it I think it would up my sampling skills alot cause then i wouldn't have to fuck around and try and estimate the tempo... Yo, if anyone knows where i can download/buy/trade for this i would very much appreciate it... Lemme know...

Yeah its true. If you have the Os 2.5 installed on your Triton Classic, then you can tap tempo with the enter key. I think that you can do it in record mode but I never use, just download the new OS 2.5 from the Korg website, if you dont have, it makes the triton much more mangeable and it kills some the bugs that the original OS had. It even has swing in quantize mode.

Is it easier? I always detect my bpm's in sound forge, but maybe I should try out the tap tempo.

I wish i had tap tempo on my EPS16+. That would be dope. It takes me about 2 minutes to get the tempo right if i got a beat in my head. But if i hafto match the tempo to a sample then im fucked, cuz that BPMs on ensoniqs are way off and you hafto guess.

I never realized how good that feature was until i used a sequencer that didnt have it.

Here goes.

Get your sample in the sample edit window and then highlight the entire section. Then go up to the toolbars and click on the 4/4. (1)And it'll tell you whats the BPM of the sample or (2)how many measures it will take for it to loop properly at the BPM that you wanna make the track at. I always use the second one cause it'll tell from jump if I gotta make any adjustments to my drums or whatever before I lay the sample on top This function helps me out alot if I ever the pitch function or timestretch in sound forge

I never had the classic but I did have the Triton LE.....I had it 6 months and it stopped playing any audio......I went back to get another one....almost copped a Triton Classic and ended up getting a MOTIF 6...Classic....I had that board the 1st week it came out.....but I copped the Extreme about 3 months ago....I LOVE THIS Board plus I gig live sometimes....this is a very nice board, lots of features and FX......the compressor and sub oscilator are my favorite chain FX and also the warm tube amp.....I am focusing all of my production nowadays on it, the sounds are nice and you can make your sounds gritty if you use the right FX...... I have really never posted any tracks up off of it yet but maybe soon....
