Take the JJ OS Poll....

In my experience the JJ OS for the AKAI MPC 1000

  • was CLOSE BUT NO CIGAR and poorly implimented. I reverted back to AKAI's last Operating System.

The last one I tried was the 4.xx something.... You know how he lets you download it but you cant save until you buy it. What ever version it was it was only like 3 months ago.

I know...Im a skeptic. But i gotta be if im trusting my music to a platform that may or may not be stable.

Stability is not an issue with JJ in my honest opinion.

Word. Well the main things I wish my OS had were the recordable mutes and the chop shop, but i didn't like the way either of those tools were integrated into the os and those are really the only reasons I wanted to get down the JJ one in the first place...

Dunno which os you have, but apparently 1.07 is the one with the problem. google it you skeptical sons of bitches :)

Ahhh well thats a harddrive prob then eh?
I just use CF cards and dont have this prob..
