T-Pain is a no talent ass clown...read this!

If you really think T-Pain can spit , then I don't know what to say ... maybe you should study Rakim, KRS, Chuck D and the likes ...

I think its unfair to compare t-pain to the new york pioneers, being a southern rapper, his style is completely different. Its like the old east coast west coast shit, maybe comparing him to people like Kaze, Scarface, Andre2000 is fairer.

yeah he did...they were kinda rudimentary though, twista took that shit to a whooooooole other level...acutally all them guys from the midwest did...Rakims stuff was also more rhyming more than one word at the end of the bar, so its more multi word rhyming than multi syllabic

I can't believe you just wrote that... you def sound like an east-coast/boom bap basher. How old are you?

Not true! He made extensive use of internal rhymes ....

Rakims stuff was also more rhyming more than one word at the end of the bar, so its more multi word rhyming than multi syllabic

dude I'm 28 and I was the BIGGEST fan of east coast rap...that is until all the east coast guys lost all originality and started rapping on south beats and slang jacking instead of originating

just out of curiosity though, since we are asking personal questions...what was rakims most mind numbing multi from the paid in full album in your opinion?

28? You sound like a teenager to me. You know what? Fuck it ... I don't have to lower myself and answer your futile questions.

I dont know why you're taking it bad...I honestly am curious what scheme or verse from the paid in full album melted your brain and made you wild out...thats a pretty basic and honest question...

But hip hop at that stage of its life was still pretty rudimentary. Especially with the one syllable rhyming schemes. Rakim is credited with the invention of the internal as well as external multi-syllable rhyming scheme. I agree that when Twista first came to the stage he was crazy, he got mad respect for being just so damn fast with it. He took Bone Thugs style to the next level.
And also whats with all the hostility here?(Not specifically at you lou). We all have different opinions, I thought we were better than that, and could disagree without getting all angry and shit.

Dude started it .... I really didn't appreciate the "purist" remark.

Oh right, me neither, but damn I aint gonna get angry about dudes opinion, or what in his opinion constitutes a "purist". Cos I know that shit aint true. In my case anyway. We are all entitled to opinions man, thats what makes this forum so cool.
