he has done beats with no samples at all. u need to hear more of his catalog. even if he still wanted to sample, he can have people come in a replaly anythin he wants to sample. its basically dat easy for the guy.


n even if samplin went away, wat about interpolations? those arent samples.

interpolation is considered on the same level of licensing though technically, and as far as clearance etc it has to be noted, it wasnt original.....even if you replayed it someone else thought of the melody or phrase so they still get credit....but what the whole bottom line is this....for that real hip hop there is no replacement, for the rarity of a cat that can do it.....I just say if I cant make my own original joints, and they on the level of a record I wanna sample then whats the use....too much trouble....like I said its one of the cornerstones of the art and people tend to start using some wack ass sounds that to the ear its hard to fool......
