SP12 vs. SP1200

Im thinking about getting either a sp12 or the sp1200, I know some you guys out there can shine some light on both of these. Give me like the pros and cons of each one, cause basically they kinda look the the same to minus the layout difference. I already have a Mpc 2000xl but I kinda wanna get a sp to get that dirty 12bit sound. Any help will be greatly appreciated

basically the 1200 has more memory and an internal drive.
