wuts a dissent sound card for the a good price nowadays?
I got a wak soundcard its a soundmax it came with my pc so i need to come up on a new one but I dont know anything about them.
I know that the 24 bit ones are good but i dont know anything.

im working with hip hop, rap, soul shit so i want to have it mastered with nice vocals

Get tha M-audio Audiophile...its like 150 bucks and has plenty of awards for being a good soundcard especially for tha price.....But if you go external - maybe get tha firewire 410...thats what i want but i havent heard if its really dope yet or not....let me know if you get it aiight.

gina 24/96 very good for the price. you get 2 in & 8 out. plus you can mix in surround with that card
