Loose Cannon

ill o.g.
All of my beats are sampled beats. I have done barely any beats with synths in it. I can play the keyboard/piano and all that, its just the midi shit that gets me confused. Im really tryin to get into makin synth beats right now though, cuz i always got shit in my head that i can beatbox all day but i cant put it into a beat cuz i dont have any synth sounds. So i got a couple questions for people who know somethin aboiut sound modules (im usin an eps16+ right now but im lookin at gettin an 2kxl and a module) (i know bigd and class could help me with this):
-I played with a cheap casio keyboard hooked up through midi to my eps, and i could make different sequences with it fine, but if i did a loop with the organ in the casio, then i tried to do a different loop with the bells in the casio, it wouldnt let me. It would only let me be on one instrument at a time. Most modules arent like that, right? And why dos it do that.
-Say i got an mpc and a module, and i do my whole beat with all these different sounds and i tweak all the sounds to sound how i want them to. I know you dont just re-edit all your sounds all over againif you wanna load the beat up later. How do sound modules save its info.
-Im lookin for a cheap module just to get started with. I aint talkin bout a triton or motif or fantom rack. I mean under $300. I just want somethin that has realistic sounds or whatever. Its hard to explain. I just dont want nothin cheap. I dont wanna listen back and say that dont even sound nothin like a saxophone. Its cool if it has some microkorg soundin instruments where nothin sounds like a real instrument. just somethin clean. let me know if you understand.
help
thanks
