Are there any programs out there where you can make your own sounds like bass etc. Cuz i keep thinking of smart sounds but cant make them. if anybody knows any programs i would be pleased to know, cheers.

You can make bass sounds from inside of Sound Forge doesn't matter what version, make a sine wave, eq it to taste so you get that deep bass thump and there you go. You can make a bass sound out of plucking a rubber band in front of a microphone and then tweaking the eq. Get creative don't be afraid to make something crazy because you'll be learning as you go, there is plenty out there, native instruments absynth, FM7, Pro 53, etc. Respond it you need further details or if I'm following you.

It depends what exeperience you have with sounds and programs... I personnaly use fruity and there are some plugins and extras you can "make" synthetic sounds with. But then, you could always rip sounds from other beats (vinyls or CDs...) like a good bass or a good kick... and then you can tweek them with plugins and effects...

The question is kinda vague (sorry I'm french... is that how you say it?)... what kind of sound do you want to "make"?

Yes, what you are looking for are most likely VSTi's. Check out www.kvr-vst.com and download a few free ones, there's millions out there

well if you are talkin about sound design there is a program called Reaktor.but you will need some technical knowledge of sound design in order to operate it.dunno if this helps...just ma 2 cents.
