Thanks Freakwncy, yo the whole thing went down so fast that it was incredible. Shortaay, (the MC in the video) asked me to do a remix for his song "The Proof". I accepted and we both loved the new beat. The next thing I know, Shortaay is doing a video for the song and using my remix. It's getting mad airplay and hopefully, it will blow up in the UK as well as here in the states. We got more come so keep a lookout for us in the near future. I'll be reminding you all for sure.

Mad Props To:
Fade and all the moderators at illmuzik.
Freakwncy and Wings for being my friends.
All the members at illmuzik.
My partner in crime "Shortaay".
Mercury Waters.
Neblina and all my peeps there.

You all have influenced me at some capacity, I thank you all from my heart.

I wish I could tell you job well done too but I can't. I laughed when I first heard the song. That dude rappin sucks and he's takin your track to suckville with him. If you are despirate roll wit it, if it was me I wouldn't even told him I make beats. He's liable to ruin your career too. This is positive for the sake of being truthful, lock yourself in the lab and get better, and lose this cat. That's not gonna sell in the U.S. Best of luck.

Kevin A, first of all it's more then I and possibly you have done lately... And the international market is different from the US... 1st. you're talking about people who's 1st laguange may not even be English... Can you rap in Russian? Most likely not...2nd. Airplay is airplay... I think the trk is dope...and he's getting more airplay then anyone I know... both the artist and Dac.....I was someone would jump on my beat and then say, let's do a video...sh*t i'll book the next flight over there to be in it....Spins are spins...and you can't beat that...And as far as the US market, people may not be feeling the cut, but that's one more PROFESSIONAL mark on Dac.'s resume'... Sh*t like the US has taste anyways.... WE GAVE AQUA millions of dollars for that crapy ass song "Barbie Girl"....dont forget Eamon that WACK ass singing dude, singing about his breakups....

One.

you can't knock the man for doing the track, its a good way of getting his name out there !

but damn while i like the beat the track as a whole sucks the dude rapping has no skills what so ever ! And like kevin sed he does really make a joke track, which most people will just laugh at when they see, but having said that the beat is good and if only one person hears it who is the right person then anything could happen so you gotta look at it from that perspective i guess !

i still side with kevin here.

just because it is out there- that doesnt mean he should like it. is it getting play? looks like it. is it doing more than a lot of heads, including myself right now? sure is. that doesnt mean we should all act like we like it when we dont. kevin's comments were perfectly fine.

still, i hope dac gets some shine from it and it leads him places. taht doesnt change. i dont like mc at all... neblina or not.

the beat is sick man. taay still needs some work. he really sounds old school. if he could tighten the flow i think he could do a good old school throwback album. he definitely has that sound to his rhyming. he ain't a big league rhymer by any means. and nobody said you have to like it. just give a big up and move on.

Dac,
I wasnt feelin tha MC but tha beat had plenty of potential in my opinion...
I agree w/ Truth: I think that someone with a more cultured delivery like Merc would have did it justice, but mad props on jus escaltin yer status and gettin known....You gotta start somewhere to get to where yer goin, sometimes people forget that.

Wings' Point Of View

1. Dac, congratulations and best of luck! :thumb: (and yo, thanks for the props) :clown:

2. in my humble opinion, the beat is very good. it's quite basic, not too complex, but it fits VERY WELL!

3. the cuts are SICK! marvelously done, as usual.

4. Kevin, even if you do hate the rapper\beat, there's a proper way of saying things: "sucks" & "suckville" are just not part of the vocabulary you should use. do you remember me saying something like that to any of the members, as bad as they might have been?

5. merc is right: "just give a big up and move on", "nobody said you have to like it".

Dac - Way To Go,
Wings

Hey yo, it's all about reaching out and getting your name out there. How many cats do we know that has better production skills than PD? How many street rappers do we know that can rip Nelly apart or even Master P? TONS OF THEM! My point is this, it doesn't really matter how dope you are on a mic nor does it really matter how tight your production skills are, what REALLY matters is who knows your name, who is seeing your face, who is hearing your message. When you get signed, your management will develop you into what is marketable depending on your style. With Shortaay (the MC in the video)...he's having fun with his music. With me and my production, well I've already got credits on the back of syndicated CD's and I'm having fun with it as well. It's ok not to like a joint, I don't like 80% of Nelly's songs but guess what? He knows the right people and he's making mega $$$$'s. I give him his props for that.

Thanks to the those with negative feedback (but in a positive way). For those that attack the rapper/producer for not being what you like can kiss deeeez!

Dacalion, congrats! Good to see you have something positive happening.

As for the track:
I agree with most of the other people that left their comments - I'm not feeling that MC, period. But the beat is real dope, good job. And like it was said - at least you guys are doing something whether it's perfect or not. Can't knock that.
