Software For Recording Vocals

word up ill fam?? i just wanted to find out what would be the best software to record vocals in .. i use fl studio so do i record directly in fl or is it advisable to rewire and use another programme sonar/acid pro/cubase etc ... holla back !!!

Basically there are a few main ones and it depends on your work flow.

if you want to do further research, the type of software you're looking for is commonly known as a DAW (digital audio workstation)

Pro Tools
Logic
Digital Performer
Ableton Live
Traktion
Sonar
Cubase

and a couple more i think...but any of those and you'll be good.

Audacity is a audio editing program that is free. Try it out it's available for both Mac & PC.

I'm using Cubase 4. FL is straight for what it does. Look at the demos you can get ur hands on and take the one that fits ur workflow.
