Damn, I’m sorry i didn’t keep cats informed, I did the competition and got 4th, it was a cool experience to have but i realized that beat battles ARE NOT for me..

First off everyone in the battle was from New Jersey since illmind was throwing the comp, it was a serious home field advantage, even though the event was in Brooklyn I was the only producer from Brooklyn…

The beats that were played were cool, some cats were nice, some cats just had a natural “style” that is suited for producer battles, I realize Im not one of those people, while I can make crazy enegetic tracks etc.. That’s not really my thing.

The event was pretty unorganized and the judging was all over the place, but reglardless it was something im glad I did once

One cool thing was sadat X from brand numbian was a judge and he was feeling my beats, he was one of my hero’s when I was a kid so that was nice..

My last beat battle I was in..... I wound up losing to the hometown hero..LoL.... got 3rd place.... Dude was 40 deep...and they were selling HIS shirts in the club.......At least I sold a beat afterwards...LOL...
