is there a way to normalize a sample in the slicer?

No, you have to normalize in a sampler channel and export the wav or mp3 to a separate folder. Then load it in the slicer.

aw man the quality sucks but that dont matter cos if you allready know your way arounf FL its all good.

I never used slicer before but i think i will give it a go.

i do my chops on audition before using the fl slicer. audition is the SHITNESS u know, but iam gonna try that goldwave piece out.

i dl the vid and played it in my flv player and was resized to a smaller window but it was much better clarity. im into my learning session now. thanx man.

i chop up the beat prior to slicer in ReCycle. slicer reads rex files
