Yeah theyve had those Skype phones for a while now, but their just starting to get good enough to the point where youd be happy with it enough as you are with your normal cell phone....

Would be tight to save a shit load of money tho and talk through a skype phone instead.

Skype is yet another way to take your discussions offline from email or "friends/followers" on your favorite social networking site to face-to-face meetings to close the deal or get your foot in the door.

Really effective if you can influence your network to embrace Skype (and other applications like it) as well.

think you have to be on a wifi network for the skype phones to work properly. it does not pick up a cell signal on its own. had one a few months back. pretty good though for what it did.

Ahh yeah it figures...I never really looked that deep into the phone business tho since im fine with the cell i got now.

i got a sony mylo (skype wifi phone) that i use to call my fam back in va with a va phone # so they can call me. when its not on or im not in a wifi spot it fowards my incoming calls to my japanease cell phone
