@Beautiful Noise : Nice sample. I would try and play with it a bit tho. The kick has a lot of bottom, but maybe a bass would be nice? Sorry sir, but i have heard this beat a lot..

Thanks for your input. I did add a bassline, but it conflicted with the kick drum, which is actually two layered tom drums, so I took it out. Part of my sound is making sure you can FEEL the kick and the snare, which is why it has so much bottom. That's how I like to set up my drum patterns.

Yeah, i see. This is also Dilla`s signature, Kick and snare. But he also loved the baselines. He was very early out with sidechain, maybe try it, this way your kick will still kick. The "FEEL" is in the bass of your music.
