So here's a new one i made appriciate any feedback



oh and bonus "beat" beleive me i started this one with good intentions, was going to push myself out of my comfort zone, made a cool bass riff things you know, were going well.... then i discovered how to alter the tempo in fl and madness ensued

I like the melody and the bass line. The snare sounded a bit low to me. Also, the beat become too repetitive for me so maybe work on the sequence/arrangement a bit more. I like the feeling this has though, a bouncy dancy type feel.

The composition is nice. I like the piano melody. The drums need some more punch and I was not a fan of the snare. This has a lot of musicality though and I enjoyed that part of the beat a lot. Overall, this is decent.

there is a lot going on here, but I like it. I dont know if there is a little bit too much coming straight from the middle or if there is one too many melodies going at once. Something I do all the time. I like the panning you have going on, that really works I think. Nice beat, a little too happy for miserable me, but I still liked it.

@Crispifier Solace, this is really nice, I like the big reverb, its more than Id normally use but I think it works, There are some harsh mid to high range frequencies on that piano when it comes in there, I think its just a little bit too loud for everything else. Did you play all this? its very good. The other one isnt playing for some reason.

@Dzhi Beats Once again, a bit happy and twinkly for me, but its well put together, love that little drum roll that comes in. I would maybe tone down some of the reverb a little bit, seems to be a lot going on in the midrange and the reverb adds to it i think. I really like your little variations, they keep it really interesting.

@2GooD Productions thank you ! i totally cheated and played the right and left hand seperatly, just recently started playing piano i'll keep in mind your point about it being too loud maybe i could of just turned it down in the mix ? know I still have a lot to learn about the producing side of things Btw in your song "Dont Compare Me to You" isn't that melody from a nursery rhyme or something? really bugging me that i cant remember which one ! Super cool beats as usual, I was perticularly partial to the first one real old school vibe to it

Yes, if you just lower the piano on the mixing channel that should do it.

@Marc Duncan Very happy beat. Mix is nice. Good choice of sounds. I think you should work on the arrangement here because after a while the beat gets too repetitive.
@Crispifier "Solace" Wooooow man! I love the sound of guitar here! The piano also sounds beautiful. Beat has very reminiscent vibe. I like it a lot. That breakdown at 1:09 is awesome. One thing I didn't like was snare. Overall, great job man.

I don't know why but I couldn't play the second beat you posted Neither when I tried here nor on your profile. Don't know what happened.

this is awesome ! I frigggin love the piano riff and whoever the guys are rapping they have a real cool old timey flow (not sure this is a sentence) I'm new to producing so i dont have a lot of input on that side of things haha but i personally digg the song, It sounds professionaly made/mixed to my ears at least

@Matt-D thank you ! happy you enjoyed it Your remix was very nice also i like the high end keyboard very "sparkly" the bassline was probably my favorite part even though its quite simple just makes me want to lean back in a good chair and chill out !

@Marc Duncan This can be synced on a commercial about some kids products... I don't hear rapper on top of it...the production seems in place...those 808's can be softer like from 0:41 and on...thats it, nothing else wrong with it...just the general vibe is not my kind of thing...
@Crispifier This is nice, dreamy and melancholic...i don't feel it as a hip hop beat, more like music on its own...you can go in that direction with it... softer snare drum, or no drum track at all, just some softer percussion...nice piano work ....I can't play the second one, i don't know what's wrong?
@Dzhi Beats On this I like all the harmony and melody sounds...i think you can simplify the drum track i think is overcrowded, with all the little snares, hi hats...I think a more straightforward beat will suit this better. And you can rework the bassline...it doesn't fit well IMO.
@2GooD Productions She got ya head turning...nice classic sound buddy, everything is good, i don't know what to tell you maybe if you can make that bassline more "defined" and "jump up more"...also i approve that brass, that is good brass / On Mr Boombox I think the bass is alit bit too heavy on this, other than that, i dont know what to tell you, you're on fire...you have been working hard this week
@Memento Beats This is dope thing that you did with @itzSAYKRIDD It sounds like Big Berd's vocals are recorded with lower quality but i guess nothing you can do about that...overall good...
