Ok @2GooD Productions first of all now I’m back home :

2 beats from last showcase :

lpcress file - at first the beat sounded too ‘off’ then I continued listening and decided that’s dope, kinda quirky flow and non robotic quantised shit. Real nice beat and @Fade hit the nail on the head with 007.

Drilla Killa - I like your diversity from above beat onto drill. Nice production here but I felt it was a little flat as in needed a change up to make it more interesting, however it is drill and had that moody vibe just didn’t feel much listening to this one.

My Baby Don’t Care - Nice!!! Now this is drill I can vibe to. Nice vocals to start and beat on point. Yeah this is nice man.

Ego Uk trap - Great production all around, very nice on the vocals and ethereal vocals throughout. Love the drums and beat, all fits great, really nice work. Where you getting these vocals from? Dope!

lpcress file and ego both quality for me personally

Very chill, nice beat. I just get the sense that something is about to drop in, like a lead or whatever but it doesn't.

Same with this one lol. Maybe I'm just thinking some rapper is about to spit.
@2GooD Productions 4 tracks have inspired me to do something. Remember people, just do you and Don’t Panda to Anyone :ROFLMAO:

Very nice drum sounds. The bassline gives it a "fun" vibe. It would be great to hear some kind of lead over this. Dope scratching.
Felt True Detective was a good fit for the vibe I had in this one….

Dope piano. Drums could swing a bit more, but I can feel the True Detective vibe on this one. That reminds me - I should rewatch that first season. That's the best one.

@2GooD Productions, maybe a little harsh on Drilla Killa Drill beat. I was on soundcloud and came across your word up remix again which is somehow criminally only holding 5 likes/loves whatever the fuck they are but listened to your uploads again and vibed with Drilla Killa.

It’s fucked up but I’ve got used to it as I quite often give peoples beats 2 or more listens especially on beat this where I might go repeatedly through 3 or 4 beats.

I actually just re-educated myself and listened to some uk drill then further appreciated your beat. Then whacked my headphones on my fifteen year old son who preferred Drilla Killa to My Baby Don’t Care.

Plugged in - yanko nice but thing with drill is most gonna end up dead, it ain’t dissing it’s let’s get it on! You know the score
:shotsfired:

"My Baby Don't Care" Nice job man. I don't know much about this genre of music. But the mix sounded pretty clean on headphones. And all the sound selections were clean and compatible. Very clean work brother.
"Ego" - Again very clean work. Love the start/stop cadence of the drums. And again the sound selection is very clean. No criticisms here bro

@InsideOutBeats
"Don't Panda to Anyone" - Bahahaha. This is hilarious. I don't know what to make of this but it was very entertaining.
"When The Rust Sets In" - I really enjoyed this. The progression of the arrangement is very interesting and engaging. I think that some synth melodies may be off key at times. But you may have been intending to do some outside playing. Either way very nice job man.

Some more boom bap for this week guys.

@Rah.sool, thanks man, hilarious and entertaining, I’ll take that, been trying to balance seriousness with humour lately, we all need a good laugh.
Yeah the Rust track I went into a different head space for that kind of feel.

This is Tha Place - Dope beat man, love the whole production. Those drums :fire: Real nice work with the vocals. What else can I say the whole damn thing is so smooth with plenty to keep the beat interesting. Mix is flawless in my opinion. On my 5th listen already.

@InsideOutBeats Dont Panda. Really like the drums, they hit hard. I feel it could use maybe one or two more layers, to add some more depth and variation, the scratching at the end is dope.

When Rust Sets In. I really like this one, I would slap some reverb on that piano though. Sounds a bit dry.

The vocals are from my Arcade subscription. Glad I got it tbh, I can get the best from the sampled and composed worlds and not worry about clearing it and releasing it .

@Rah.sool This is really nice, I like everything about it, love the variations and the whole vibe of the beat, wouldnt change a thing.

Fire bro! Very dark and melodic and the 808 slaps nice, the slide you have in there for it is also bumpin

I like the panning on the vocals on this one, keeps the beat interesting and engaging

This is a very 'happy' beat and i can see maybe the younger children rocking out to this one

Nice one. I like the bass's progression but felt that the chords were too happy for the bass, it sits well but I feel like a darker chord progression could make the beat ride better, its good as is tho. I am talking about the chord progression at 0:45.

Just some of the beats that I liked over the past couple weeks. Any feedback would be nice. Feedback on if there is space for an artist would also be cool!

#1: sunset Avaaj x Yomni x Mathias

#2: Maybach

#3: Lurk

#4: Ratchet City

Sunset : generally nice, instrumentation fits well, kind of Juice WRLD vibe to this one.

Maybach : seems too much going on in this one, a bit chaotic, need to tone it all down a bit especially if you wanted room for an artist as you mentioned.

Lurk : love the sample at the beginning and throughout. Much cleaner and not overcrowded.

Ratchet City : very nice production and sound, mix is great. This compared to previous three sound like someone has professionally mixed this? Everything is just clean and sonically sound. Immediately notice you have worked on the mix here and an artist could jump straight on this one. :fire:
