Thank you for checking out my beats and giving feedback. Really appreciated. Actually the first beat has no melodic samples it is all non-sense based on Midi.First one is fire. I really have no complaints. Sample choice was top notch, drums are on point, sound stage comes off real nice and full sounding, and bass is real thick.
Second one, not as good to me personally, not that it's bad. I find the keys to be a bit repetitive I think. Still though, drums are on point, shares the same quality of sound stage too.
Really like the first one of yours as well, particularly the way its structured. Keeps the whole thing interesting. Super chill, it'd be a good one to relax to. Nothing really sounds out of place, except for maybe the volume on the super high note that the string plays. Caught me off guard and broke me out of the vibe.
I can't really add input to the second one, I like the vocal chops I suppose, but the rest feels a bit dull to me, personal preference maybe?
Nice. Shits grimy af. Lots of variety in sound. Really like the changeup at 43 seconds.
Broke my month long slump and actually made something for once. Way out of my wheelhouse too compared to the shit I usually make. I've listened to it to the point that I can't anymore, and every change I made since this version was worse so I guess its time to post it. I had a couple ideas for the end that I just couldn't get to fit and if I continue to scratch my head over it I'm gonna go completely bald.
The acapella noises don't let me get into this song tbh BUT... the beat is super dope. Here's mine for this week. Remix of Dillon's 83 Kids ft. J57 & Blu
I can't get a decent acapella so there's a bit of unwanted noise throughout. Hoping to get a clean acapella but not heard back as yet.
Nothing here yet.
Was going to save this for next week but no point cause I'm working on alot at the moment.
Just dusted off this remix of Kev Brown - Work In Progress.
I appreciate you checking it out!The drum groove is dope. I also like the melody switch half way through and the sample in the end make the experience complete. Nice job man.
@hosie I appreciate the feedback. The first beat I actually did not mix it at the time I made it, after I did it on my MPC. I should have though. Thinking of trying to remake this in FL studio.@MR. MINESTATE first beat is lacking a little rhythm for me. It's too start / stop and the mix makes everything sort of mash together but not in a good way. There's no room for anything to breathe. I really like the samples and vocal parts. I actually think it's that cymbal that's putting me off the drums. But yea, I can hear some good drums there but just need a little tweaking I think.
Second beat. This is nice. I'm threatening to say that snare is too loud but it's actually right in the cusp. Drums are super nice! That "sing" vocals byte fits really nice over the sample. Really diggin this one!!
Man, I've been busy all week, and meaning to give you some feedback on the beats in return but they're no longer a thing apparently. Same with the other one. Send me em in DMs I guess and I'll listen. Here's mine for this week. Remix of Dillon's 83 Kids ft. J57 & Blu

This beat I banged out in 2018 using my MPC 1000. its a psychedelic, trippy type. So I decided to just post up a vid showcasing it
This joint is more recent. Boom bap style as usual. Hope yall enjoy them.
