Heyo check out my new track Vinyl Biggie.
What do you think about it?

I like the feeling youcreated, it's straight new york shit, but u could alternate a little bit, and the voval is ether offtempo or just don't fit with the rythm.

I already sent in this one for attack of the beats. Unfortunatelly, i didn' get any feedback yet, so I try it once again:

Nice arrangement. The mix is nice and all the transitions fit the mood of the beat. Sounds like some X Men shit. Props

A familiar beat with some added ingredients:

Nothing here yet.

I think your beat is more funky, and mines got that epic/dramatic touch. Me, personally, I wouldn't put in so many different vocal samples, but I'm creating Beats from a Rappers view, and I suggest, you're DJ or a dancer, cause yours was quite "danceable". Is that right?

The name of the track come from the vocal samples. The "beautiful noise" vocals are actually tags, to piss beat jackers off. Gotta protect my creativity. Once an interested party buys the beat, the tags will be removed, except for the first tag. All my beats posted online will be tagged until purchased.

thx for the feedback

I'm not going for a danceable sound when I create. I'm going more for that 90's era boom bap sound. If my beats make people dance, cool...but it's not my intention to go that route.

Those tags in a beat makes sence to me.
I always try not to create a 100% boom bap, or dirty south or trap beat. However, someone who listen to rock or techno, would call my beats "hiphop", and that's everything, that counts to me. I can't stand those discussions, wether boom bap or trap is "real" or whatever. I remember the time when dmx and the ruff ryders came up with their new sound and everybody hated on that swizz beats synth sound and x yellin and barkin on his tracks. 15 years later, that boy is "legendary" and almost oldschool. Most of the people do hate on guys like waka flocka, but in 15 years waka flocka and gucci mane will be "oldschool". We all grew up with cypress hill, dre, xzibit, tupac, biggie etc, and I love to see the different facettes of rap, wether it's trap or boombap..... It's hiphop. I startes makin jokes, when people askin me, how I would call my style, but now I'm almost dead serious, when I tell people "I make boomtrap!" All that competition made us start hate on each other, but it's all love that inspires everyone of us to make music.... So why should we hate on something that others create with love? Damn, that was too much coffee this morning.... Look at this shit..... Haha! Thx for takin time and reading this bullshit. :D

But the whole ensemble is one sample.... When the sample fits, how can the bras, wich are part of the sample be disharmonic? :D I don't know, what ure tryin to tell me :D
I know that the brass is in the sample, every sample could be disharmonic if i cut out a piece of sample that make the melody harmonic
(Sorry for my english)

Alright, i really tried to focus on that, and had other people listen to it, and we just can't find out, what you mean, although the eqs almost cut the whole bras..... And the sample is looped no breaks and cuts in it....
We probably won't agree on this one, maybe on the next....... Check it out:

Remember that what i said bef9re is only my opinion, i was just saying my opinion about the brass, you dont have to say me all kinds of giustifications to probe that the brass fits well because I just dont like how it fits, learn to receive opinions, like you say me that in my last beat the bass dont fits well, ill consider your opinion also if for me the bass fits well, is all matter of taste(sorry again for my english).I admit that maybe I was wrong but but like I said before its all matter of tastes, ill listen now im at school

But in 15 years time Waka Flocka and Gucci Mane will still be considered crap. Oldskool doesnt equal good.
Rap has always been about conflict, but conflict through art and not by gun or violence.
Some of the best rap I ever heard was in rap battles and freestyle sessions.
Competition drives innovation, lack of it drives stagnation, which is where we are at right now.

Hip hop used to be a diverse art form with many facets but now it pretty much all sounds the same.
Hip hop doesnt really mean anything anymore, to me its just fashion and bullshit to a musical backing track.
