Good job! I like that the violin is a bit dissonant. The fact that the beat always hits very hard on 1 really helps with rapping.
Would have loved to see more variations overall, especially in melody.

Love how you build the whole beat on top of that vocal sample. A really good one, too, and it's easier to rap to than I thought.

The break at 0:22 felt a bit weird. Super unexpected, but maybe it could sound great in a song. Was surprising again when it reappeared later. Keep in mind, I was freestyling, so everything was spontaneous.

When there was no break, this was fun, though. Expected it to be hard to rap to but it really wasn't. The drums are an awesome foundation and the vocal sample blends great with your own voice when you're rapping.

Keep it up, man!

the chops on this are perfect, the sample could do with some eq to bring out the toms and bass(possibly double and filter for the bass) only thing im not feeling is the snare

@Ys Man yeah I thought about bringing the bass up some but for some reason I didn’t want it up very high so I left it but it probably would sound better with it up. Unfortunately my computer crashed so I’m trying to retrieve everything off my hard drive to get my older stuff back smh. But I love my snare lol

I just made this piece. Kinda Mellow Vintage beat i guess i like the bass tune it's catchy. The intro gives that mellow trippy feeling. The bastune kicks in on a right moment in the right place. Made it short so i could throw everything i got in it lol. Naahhh just joking it's a stable beat in my opinion. But how about you ladies and gents ? You think this beat fits your street tell me. Yoo this is already ready for a spit yoo. I like it like the basstune. The beat is fat in your face kinda i like that maybe some more variation would be nice make things spicy.

Cool one! A bit unusual but that's always interesting.

I freestyled to this and in the beginning I was a bit confused how to do that because the beat was so unconventional but at some point it got easier. [Hell, I'm not even sure if this beat was intended to be a rap beat.]
What I really liked while rapping was the great support from the low-frequency synth sounds. They really helped with keeping a steady flow by providing something like a rhythmical reference.
When they dropped at around 1:40, it gave me more freedom to do different stuff with my voice and the beat got more chill overall.
I liked both parts, though.

Was listening to some of your other stuff on SC and must say the recent ones are all pretty dope. I can definitely hear you made huge progress (comparing it to your older uploads). Do you use drum loops?

If you didn't already you should really enter some beat battles here! (It's surprisingly balanced between trap & boombap and so are the votes.) Quite often it's theme based and it really challenges you to be even more creative with samples...

@TjombaBeats love the casino reference lol. Checked out your track, It's very well put together and all that good stuff but it was just a bit too different for my taste. I can tell it's a well put together track just not as good as your earlier stuff from last showcase IMO.
@Ys Man that remix is on point! The vocals fit nicely. You've got that classic hip hop style down!! I went ahead and turned the bass up definetely helped than I added 50 Cent Vocals because the sample went pretty good with the lyrics. I can't quite edit the way I want to until I get my stuff recovered so I had to try adjusting the whole track at once.

Youve got your own style thats for sure! i would of prefered this if you stayed with the breakbeat\trip hop drums over the switch to more rap drums

sounds better on the lows but its very muddy and the strings are away now, the vocals dont fit for me.
