Jay Z - Song Cry (Remix)

Discrete - I love the dramatic feel to the track, it reminded me of Eminem's Lose Yourself (though there is a noticeable difference) nice track.

Da Prophet - I really like your song considering I am a fellow sampler and chopper. I like the feel of the song, very nice.

I like the concept of the beat, but it sounds too stiff and bland in my opinion, and it sounds like too much sample, not enough of everything else, and since the sample just loops it makes it kind of annoying - the sample is alone, the chops are good and the sample itself is cool but the song is bare, it needs more, not like change ups or anything but it seems like all that was really added was a snare and a few hihats, not hating or anything just constructive criticism

Love the sample, real soulful, love the vibe, some bass would've thrown this track over the top, to another level, the whole time listening I had a bassline in my head, good track, went great with the vocals - definitely feeling this

Lol, yea, I was thinking that the whole time after posting. I was kicking myself for forgetting to up the bass. Thanks for the constructive criticism though.

@diskrete- I like the dramatic feel of the track like Alec B said. But I feel like it took a long time to build up, Its a nice track though and I liked when the high hats came in.
@ Da Prophet- Nice track man,Im feeling the vibe of it.
@ Alec B- Damn man, that sample is crazy...The track is dope, listened through laptop speakers so idk about it missing the bass. Real soulful though im really feelin it.

@LP That track "Something That Lasts" is hot! Love the drums and the chopping, though I would've enjoyed some variation or maybe shorten the track, but good nevertheless.
