I am tired of "mainstream" MC's at the moment. Anybody else sick of hearing:
1. How rich an MC is
2. Booty
3. Guns
4. Weed

But on the other hand, I am tired of other MC's rapping about:
1. Helping their fellow man
2. The environment
3. The government

These topics have been Beat to death. But that doesn't really leave much else does it. Anybody got any suggestions on someone to listen to that will re-inspire me, make me go "holy shit" or just get me stoked. Is there such an MC?
Don't get me wrong, I'm still diggin the beats out there.

There's only so much you can rap about anyway, it's just the way it's done that will stand out and make it fresh.

As for people rapping about politics etc I don't think that will ever get old cause we're not living in some utopia, there's always something out there that needs saying. Sure people saying "war is bad" with no real opinions to back it up with is lame, but there is always something people need to say. Go back, listen to a coupla old PE albums, thet'll get you back in the mood
