I've been using hardware to create tracks in the past, Now I'm tryin to use my hardware with software to make even better beatz, But I think I may have went overboard with the software and Now I stuck tryin to figure out which ones should I use or can I use them all together or should use them seperate and make tracks off just the software...
main Hardware:
MPc 3000
yamaha Motif es 7
triton 61 key workstation.
Software--
Fl studio 4
Cakewalk: Sonar producer edition 3, Project 5, Vst adapter 4
Sonar sound forge 7.0
cool edit pro
reason 2.5

Looks like your stuck with a luxury "problem" of sorts.
Why don't you just do both??
Use whatever you feel like???

Find Cubase Sx 2.0 and use it in midi to control your triton and mpc. Youll make bomb beats. Use the midi sequencer of cubase to insert notes and stuff to control instruments from your triton.

/\ Couldnt say it better. Id do what ACE said to do.

MPC and Triton hooked up to your computer by midi. And use Cubase on the computer.

look if I were you I would use LOGIC only to sync all of the hardware, sequence and arrange.......Reason and Fruity do not stack up to the gear you have man and I don't understand the purpose for using any of the sounds and synths that come as VST's stacked up against the Motif and Triton synths and generators...??????......the sampler in logic is very capable of doing anything....so don't understand why you want to use Fruity loops, Reason and Logic....its ummmmm Illogical....LOL...but if you are a glutton for punishments knock yaself out....but I would put everything on the midi bus....out to in from the computer to the first device...prolly the MOtif....and then use the thru from the MOtif to the in on the next piece....maybe the mpc...??? ANYHOW CHAIN ALL OF THAT GEAR TOGETHER AND SYNC IT WITH LOGIC.....USE THE exS24 SAMPLER OR THE mOTIF...OR FRUITYLOOPS...OR THE Mpc....i have had killer setups like this man....and its cool and everything but to be honest it is a pain in the ass as far as hunting down midi connection problems, triggering and channels....but if you really want to do it ....go for it...

sonar 3. dope alot more stable than cubase. you can set your ppqn to match that of your mpc3000 (i'm sure you are sequencing on that no !! you cannot do that with cubase (can be done with logic) but logic has been ditched for pc...... SONAR 3 IS OVERTAKING CUBASE IS THE MIDI SEQUENCING MARKET..... word of advice. if you are using a plugin that was developed to use under the vst standard and it has as dxi version often that vst version through the rapper will be more stable that the dxi (sonars latest vst wrapper is very economical) and even dxi's and dx effects do not run directly from the microsoft standard as it is inferior (new sound engine is sonar 3 makes it more economical that cubase)

i wouldnt control your mpc from cubase...
defeats the purpose of the mpc, dope sequencing and midi.. good to sync to cubase to do all your keys and arranging in..

but thats just my method. i dont see why you would have problems with your instruments seeing as u have a shitload more than prolly most of us on here hehe, remember its about the music and not the gear, what u hear, not what u see
