Sampler Budget

What samplers would you guys reccomend for around $300... I've tried the Boss Dr. Sampler it seems good but I don't really know the first thing about sampling so could you help me out?

I know the 404 is pretty good (tried myself) but for $400.

Check out ebay when you figure out which one you want.. But for your price range i would look for the Dr Sample or the 404 like jay mentioned. Those should be some good ones to start out with

an older yamaha rackmount sampler can be had real cheap on ebay and is very capable
