Sample triggering question on fantom x

When i have a sample loading up on the pads how do i make the sample play the whole way through instead of stopping when i lift my finger off the pad?

mess around with the decay, or set the mode to one shot...i can't really remember but that should be in the ballpark of what to look for, or break out the manual...

never used a fantom, only at stores, but there should be some type of "release" knob... or "sustain."

thanks i figured it out. But how do make the samples cut each other off. like how do i get pad 3 to cut off pad 2 or whatever.

i oun know but you might have to put them either into a mute group or something like that, more manual reading dawg, i mean i had that board a long time ago, there is a lot you can figure out but think how thick the manual is,,,,,there is a lot you just gotta do yourself..Roland has many features on their workstations.
