Hey,

The V-synth is a synthesizer in the classical sense of the word, you shouldn't compare it to the Fantom or Triton, which are both workstations.

I would love to have a v-synth, you can make some pretty messed up sounds with it.

Take care,

Nick

See the Triton was way ahead of its time when it first came out but looking at it with how computer based production has advanced the triton is definitely to be appreciated by live gigging musicians not really the sit at home behind the board and mpc type musician........but people nowadays need more sounds than any stock board has now...I know I got tired of the motif sounds in about 5 or 6 months...even with the editing they still are boring....

the thing is that the korg has been recycling the same product for so long..... when was the last time they came up with a NEW product? granted, roland did the thing with the jv 1080, 2080, and xp series, and then the xv series..... but they took price ranges into consideration..... and made products in the same line to meet the needs of different people... but korg has just recycled the same triton in different versions for so long..... they havent really offered up anything to be excited about.
