I have FF #48, first appearance of Silver Surfer. The old Kirby/Lee FFs are amazing. And you know who's not far behind if the Surfer is scoping the joint out....

Just finally saw XMen 3 last weekend, you're right Ash, same as a lot of the other Marvel comics, they mix up the stories and fuck them up.
Didn't like in XMen that Wolverine kills Phoenix instead of her killing herself (don't think Hollywood is big on main characters committing suicide)...
And in FF, my biggest gripe is that they had Doctor Doom on the spaceship with the FF when they got their powers. I don't think they should have fucked with the origin....
Now the question is, what actor will play Galactus, Chris Elliot?

I didn't remember the exact origin of Doom, but now that you mention it, he's kind of an evil version of Iron Man, dude with a lot of money makes an iron suit to get some super powers. He is a smart bastard though, although never as smart as Reed...
If anyone wants to trip out, all those old FF's are just amazing, it's like pop art, great writing, great imagery. 48 through 59 are especially great, origin of Silver Surfer and Galactus, first appearance of Black Panther, worth checking out...
