did u read the directions in both FL and Reason that explain how to rewire? its very well laid out there.

go to Channels>>add one>> Rewired

then it adds a channel and the chanel settings window pops up.

where it says "client" (its a drop down menu) select reason.

Then click the "show panel" button. and reason will open up.

now ur entire reason mixer is rewired into the one FL chanel. So you can use the reason sequencer for ur reason shit. and the FL for ur VSTs. and put it all in the playlist on FL.
Easy as pie. there u go man.

u have to play it in reason. u cant play it in FL.

open up the subtractor, and STAY in reason and record there. Alll the FL shit will play along etc.

they are still 2 seperate sequencers, just working together for a common goal :)

You can hook everything up so that you play the reason synths in reason and vsts in fl, like sanova said.

OR

i prefer to just hook up the midi channels between the two, and them just play the reason synths via midi out channels in FL. easier for me, and i dont have to be switching all the time.

there is a complete guide to this in the FL help thingy. tells you exactly, step by step. if you still can get it pm me or im me and ill walk you through it.

i highly recommend this method of making beats, it has expanded my FL use exponentially...

I don't have problems rewiring the normal way but I was wondering if there is a way to make each reason track have its own track in another sequencer like cubase. I want to do this so I can master each track individually with cubase features.

Sorry I'm still learning a lot with these programs and rewire has always confused me.

Also I may as well ask why my mastering functions in cubase are usually unclickable, what do I need to do to apply the effects?

Thanks.

lol... what a thread hijacker...

you can just rewire reason to cubase the normal way, should work and let you have a track for eack synth i think. to apply effects, i usually just go to the mixer window, open the inserts section, and then select and insert for that channel. thats not working?
