Reintroducing Myself - Got an MPK Mini!!

Heyyo - back again... relatively new to beat-making (~six months). I've been all virtual/software up 'til Saturday, when I got my MPK Mini III (all black edition)!! Working with MPC Beats/2 primed me for the hardware, so I had a running start. Most of what I make comes out as neosoul or soulful house, but one of the first beats I made with the MPK Mini and MPC 2 is an ode to NYC 90s hip-hop, which was my introduction. Not a serious rapper or singer, but I do it to the best of my ability/talent. Plus, Melodyne. Bahahaha. It makes me happy. Still have a ways to go when it comes to mixing, balance and overall engineering, but I will learn.
