Is there an external way to create redrum drp kits without actually using redrum to save the patch? cause redrum takes a long time to load the broweser when surfing for individual drum samples. its pretty much a pain in the asss. i'm thinking about making a bunch of new kits so i just want a faster way to go about doing it. thankss if anyone knows

for real? i got a centrino duo t7100 with 2 gigs ram laptop. soundcards stock, but i don't think that shold effect loading times of samples.

keep all your patches for ReDrum inside your Reason folder! Actually keep everything you want to have easy access to inside your reason folder.

If you have an external hard drive and you have things that u want to use with Reason on it expect a longer load time. Depends on your spin up time for the external as far how fast things will load from it.

Basically anything outside of your Reason folder will take longer to load up. Create folders within your Reason folder and keep everything nice and neat. Keep your hard drive or drives defragmented.

If you have everything within your Reason folder and it's still taking a long time to load you got hard drive issues! Do some routine maintenance. DEFRAG AND PUT THINGS IN FOLDERS WITHIN REASON....THAT SHOULD HELP!

yo i put everything inside reason and defragged and its definitely faster now, but just out of curiosity, how many different sounds do you have in your folders? i had one folder with 300 kick samples, which takes like a few seconds to load up. do you have any folders like that, and if you do how long do those take for you to load up? I think what i'm going to do is subcategorize as the folders with less than 100 samples take less than a sec to load upp.
