eh wat up erbody. I got a question when i want to record say from my pc does anyone know real good software to have no background noise and solid quality>?

background and quality is gonna start with ur mic man, but good programs are - cubase, sound forge, acid, etc...... but background noise and quality always happens in the soundcard/mic and not the software

dont forget the importance of good cabling. i recommend canare. its worth spending the money on good cabling.

Your source is key. Background noise can come from anywhere. Most Home studios have dirty power(Microwave, A/C, Fridge) So quality cables are important also. Most of the leading DAWs (Digital Audio Workstation) have good sound quality. Try them all if possible. Only your ears and eyes know what your looking for.

So, If I get one of the better soundcards on the market, I won't have that hiss in the background when sample from line in?
