aiight

I have a numark belt drive turntable running to a mixer to my M-audio external soundcard

problem is, I can't get any audio to go into my computer, but I have everything hooked up correctly

I'm thinking my turntable is fucked, cause I got it off a friend, but it looks OK

some tables need an amp or pre, also if I am not mistaken I had or actually still have an old maudio delta 44 audio interface, I remember that the problem there could be that software that sits in the systray for the card itself you need to make sure that you have that set up correctly for input.....its the software they you can monitor and configure the audio inputs thru for the card I cant remember the name of it....

that's what's hood

I think I might need a pre amp, somebody mentioned needing something w/ the RIAA curve and I don't think my mixer has that

yeah ok so I got a pre amp, I can get audio through to my computer but I can't record anything into cool edtit through my external soundcard.

btw I'm using a M-audio moble Pre as my external soundcard, and I get the most sound when I run my cords into the "stereo line output" port, which doesn't make much sense to me.

I'm posting this cause I can't find my instruction manual.
