lol. Reason is a SLAVE component. you have to set the tempo in audition 2 (which i downloaded...). Once you set a tracks midi out to rewire, then you just go to reason and record ur stuff. It never really records into audition, the tracks record on reason, but u hear them play together.

Now, recording.

I have a Maudio Mobile Pre interface, and there is something called direct monitor that lets me hear my voice when i talk on the mic.

I dont know what u use, but just go to ur default Volume manager and mute the mic. (whether it be from a mixer, the default stereo mic input, or direct monitor).

It will stop you from hearing ur voice, but still record.

As a good plan before moving to rewire - try and put the bpm in the title of the beat somewhere. That way; when its time to fire up rewire you know what to set your host sequencer to. Just an easier way to remember. Ive found that method to be personally useful anyways.

You can also solo your tracks in Reason and export each track to wav file and open them up in audition's multi-track.

alright, not sure if I remember 100%.

Set up the loop points around your song. Then click on solo on the mixer for one of the tracks. Now go to file and export loop as audio file. Do that for all the tracks you have.

In audition multi track, just open up each track on seperate channels.
