Reason question

i downloaded the reason demo and i'm wondering is there any way to use the nnxt's sounds but play them out using redrum. i dont have a midi controller but i still want to play my melodies out. is this possibel

yes load them into the Redrum.. you gotta load the Indi wavs in the Redrum.. No u cant load Nnxt patches in the Redrum.. But u can Load up the individual sounds via wav

Yeah, me and NN were just talkin bout this tha other day actaully, lol......Its just like copying the MPC and how it functions, since yer limiting yerself that way to what the prgm can do anyways......Im not down with just using the redrum to make a beat, but if yer creative enough, u can still do tight shit on it, just feels too limited when u got a awsome sampler and synths to fuck with too....

I thought that the demo was full functional minus being able to export as wav?....you should be able to utilize the other mods as well, ie: NNXT, REXPLAYER, NN19, ECT....

hey bro! have ya tryed hooking up the Matrix device to the nn19/nnxt/ sub/malst then you could use the 'random select' or draw up notes yourself until you crack it!!! good way to make melodies with no keyboard!!!

aye man if you dont have a midi controller you can always load up your NN19 NNxt subtractor, or malstrom and right click on the sampler you create and choose the create matrix sequencer option and make your melodies that way..kinda like fruity loops but ya know..in reason

it disables the save function too. and it shuts down after 20 mins.

route redrum to the vocoders modulation input, and the nnxt to the carrier input using spider as necessary, then program rythmic synth patterns on the redrum for some seriously fucked up results
