reason question PLZ respond

ok quick question regarding reason.. im using reason 2.5 adapted for digidesign (macintosh) and i cant seem to figure out how to use my midi keyboard with the ReDrum, in other words id like to use the midi keyboard to write the drum tracks and for some reason cant figure out how i did it before.. if anyone can help me out id really appreciate it.. thanks in advance..

Hook up Midi controller
Install the Drivers..
Open the reason.. Direct it to ur Midi..
Enable the redrum for Midi control

in the transport click on the reddrum so the midi is controling that track. Reddrum is by default set to be triggered by the 3 or 4 octive down on the keyboard I think. Hit record on the transport, and tap out your drum beat.
