Reason on MAC and PC

I'm trying to collab with my friend but he has a MAC. We both have the same refills in the exact same folders in the Reason folder the same way. If I do a song and want to send him the Reason file and he tries to open it, it ask him to locate the files because they are missing. If I send the file to a friend with a PC, it loads up the correct way with no problems. I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on my problem. I'd appreciate it thanks.

are you self containing? also when switching between platforms like that its best to zip the song beforehand, but before zipping (on the Mac) he should rename the file with the .rns extension.....try that

well the set up for Mac And Pc are different the folders are located in different areas, PC -C:/programs-BLABLABLA and whatever mac is but i bet thats the problem.

I was thinking the same thing, I didn't want to do self contain because the file is so much bigger but I guess if that is how it works for him then I'll have to do it that way. I thought it wouldn't matter because they both have a Reason Folder and that is where all our refills are that it would show up.

its, because every other operating system in the world handles hard drives and folder in a better way the PC's do. Windows is stuck in this insane drive letter idea (IE: Drive C, D) Every other os handles drives and partitions with mount points. Giving you much more fleability. On the mac there is no C: drive for example so there is no reference point. Windows is the only os in the world that acts is this and it is actually very illogical. I use windows and macs everyday and I hate windows more by the minute...

your wrong dream...it really all depends on the version of Tiger being used...adding the file extension is the best route, besides self-containing. But JUST self containg...wont do it.
