Reason 4 NN19 problem !

Right i used to be a big reason 3 user before switching to hardware for a while, well i decided to go back to software and buy reason 4 recently, obviously there are a lot of differences but one thing i can't figure out is before in reason 3 you could load a .wav sample into the NN19 and then trigger it, but now everytime you load an NN19 in reason 4 it automatically loads an instrument in the patch section so that the NN19 only plays the patch and not the sample !
i know thats probably not the clearest but its hard to explain does anyone know wot i mean and no the answer?

U can set Reason 4 up so it doesn't automatically load up a preset instrument. Go to preferences, make sure where it says page it says general. Go to the bottom and declick the box that says "Load Default Sound In New Devices". Now when you load a module it won't have anything preloaded. U can always right click in an empty space on the module then scroll down and select "initialize patch" as well.

Nope! But you can take advantage of using both! You can track the sample with Dr Rex and then edit the sample slices individually in the NNXT. It's an advance trick but easy to do. Search back thru the reason posts and you'll find it. I posted it a few months back. If u can't find it shoot me a PM and I'll explain it.

get into the nn-xt !!is my advise!! it has the most options of controlling ya chopz!! trust me!! than any device in reason
and the nn-xt has 16 output channel!! the nn-19 doesn't have dat!!
i use 2 nn-xt!
trust me fam its overwhelming at first but once u get use to it!! wooooooooo!

have a listen for ya self!!! all these beats on day page are maed in reason4 but i used at least2 nn-xt's in most of the beats!!!

I like the nnxt better as well over nn19 and rex.. altho i do like the nn19 for its pianos.
