Do any of the ill producers know how to get that down south snare build up beat? You know the snare that is going very fast then the beat will come in. I tried to do it with the bpm at 85 and it does not come out right. Therefore, if anybody has a way of doing it or can lead me in the right direction, that will make things a lot easier.

Just go into the piano roll, change the quantization to 1/32 and then lay it down with the pencil tool. Simple as that.

MdL is right, also play with the velocity, cut every second one a bit (u know, one after one) damn my english is too shity for trying to explain this.

dirty south beats usually in 75ish bmp range, so try making it in that area.

I do not want to sound crazy but I do not know how to get into the piano roll that MdL was talking about because I never use that when making a beat.
