I am looking to get a Radium as my midi controller and proteus (or maybe even a motif rack) as my sound module.... what do u guys think. Are they compatible (in terms of output/inputs and using the keyboard to access the soundmodule's samples)? Thanks.

if you have a midi controller....it really doesn't matter. it will be compatible. the only question is how user friendly some modules or keyboards/controllers are. basically...it comes down to preference.

i use a proteus and control it with an old and cheap yamaha keyboard that i got off my uncle because it was sitting there and he wasn't using it. plus it has midi. works perfectly fine for me.

the radium is a usb controller, and so unless yuo will be using a computer to sequence that has a soundcard with a regular midi output, this will not work.

oh, and if you can get the mo rack, i suggest that you do taht first.

and then if you can get the protues for around $400 then jump on it and get the Vintage Pro card if you can find it.

proteus 2000 is a very underated module it has a different way of doing things and it is the easiest module for effects.

*update- there is one on ebay for $275. i'd swoop in on that one right away if i were you man.
