What up ya'll,

I go by River Cruz, raised in Queens, NY and now out in Boca Raton. I've been taking music production serious for about 6 months and I'm super excited to be a part of this community. A die hard fan of boom-bam drum over a chopped soul sample/string sample/ horn sample anything really that makes you go "ooooooohhh" after the first 3 seconds. Always down to make a classic, give feedback, and enjoy timeless music.

Welcome to the ILL! What kind of setup do you have?

I chop samples, create basslines, drum patterns, strings etc with my Maschine MK2 and my M-Audio BX5 D2 monitors. Then setup the actual song on Logic which is where I also mix it down. I also have an AT 2020+ mic for lyricists that want to collab

Nice! I'm not a Logic fan but I have Maschine MK1 and LOVE it. So good to make beats with.

I know seriously! I use to just use Logic to chop and sample everything even the drums and use Logics drummer for percussion and hi hats, but the maschine...is nothing short of God-like lmao
