hey guys this might not be a great question i just started using cubase....

but i made a track in cubase then exported it to wav ........when i open it in a wave editor theres nothing there

under the save as part when you export it there is another option for different formats should i choose one of those or stick with the default (right underneath the option for wav or mid)

anybody who uses cubase have any ideas?

sorry if this is a dumb question

ok i figured it out so i just wanted to write it up here in case someone has the same problem

you have to convert your midi file to audio so what i did was play the track in cubase and used the sound recorder to record it and thats all , you ll get the wave you need
if you use regular sound recorder in windows make sure you go to properties and choose cd quality otherwise it wont sound right

if there is an easier way please let me know
