Producers Block

I know am at it at da moment, i keep workin but nuttin is comin. i mite get a beat goin n before i finish it i trash it, i tink am hittin a wall at da moment.
u guyz got ne advice??

Take a break for a day or two. I know it sounds like a lot to give up for 48 hours, and its hard for me, but it usually works for me.

Go get Timbaland & Magoo's "Under Construction Part II", listen to some old records and just chill. Get a bunch of ideas built up, so when you get back to makin beats youll be hyped up to lay stuff out.

yeah..helix is right...just dont do n e thing...take a break. it happens to me a lot so i just get a whole bunch of ideas, and 2 or 3 days later when i come back, its just flows..

that's a very common situation mate.
sometimes you just run out of ideas...
i recommend you to rest for a few days. listen to some dusty old records, and gather ideas... you'll be back producing in no time!

go digging, listen to the radio(well I don't know if it's a good advice nowadays).... just try to listen to other people's work .... you 'll get some new ideas....

i usually make a techno or baltimore club beat. they're simple and repetitve, and it doesn't take as much thought. that always help's me flush my system.

My advice spend a day listening to your older ish (hopefully you kept them) and spend time just analyzing your improvements you've made then til now. Take time to notice everything, but i am pretty sure one cause of your producer's block could be related to lack of variety with the equipments you use, try buying a couple new sample cd's or go record crate digging for bout a week - i suggest thrift shops like salvation army - cheap and great variety.

Usually I would chill for awhile maybe atleast 2-3 days and,I ain't gon' say my head be full of ideas after resting that long but,one thing I know I will make a beat that day cause i'm energized and refresh.Only time I get ideas is when I got new sounds and I have a bunch of sounds.Unbelievable,LOL
