Pro Tools 8 upgrade (worth it) - $150

Hey Crew,

So I am using 7.4 and am considering an upgrade to 8... have watched all the videos @ digidesign and fellow-ill member Dreams remarks that it is super-stable ect....

So a full version of M-Powered is 300 and the upgrade is 150.


Therefore, there has to be some serious enhancements to make that move from 7.4 to 8.

There is the:

Midi Editor... wow that shit is dope, check the vid..

Elastic Pitch.. very nice technology

GUI Enchancements... super dope for my eyes but is the mac version the same as the windows? as far as icons?

Virtual Instruments & Processors: stupid nice: stupid cause the amount of full licensed treats we not included with 7.3-.4. Nice cause it's nice

Playlist Option: DOPE....

Yes worth it if you are a PT user. Totally different world. Just the new instruments alone are worth $150

yea its defo worth it. I upgraded to 8 last jan and recorded the whole nicholas kopernicus album using it.. No problems. Alot more stable...
