Works best with a MIDI controller of some sort that has a knob/slider/rotary input.

If not I believe it's still useable you just need to automate the knob that you link parameters to.

i saw this a while back, never managed to implement it, in the guide I saw the guy used two keys on the keyboard as forward and back. But I think a mod wheel will work and feel better

Yes I need to throw scratch noises over the odd beat so let me go out and spend $8K on a pair of CDJ's and a mixer. Maybe while I'm at it I could buy an amp and a bunch of 15" speaker cabs too. Hopefully I never need any type of orchestral sounds because I don't think I'd be able to afford paying an entire orchestra.
