Pitch/redrum

I wana switch the pitch form a snair in the redrum but i wana make this on the fly while im recording os that just the aprt im pitchng actualy pitches down.

Re drum wont let me do this??

another thing, i did my drums most on the redrum but then for my hat and snair rolls i pencilled them in because i want a different flow to them.

Well another problem im having is the velocity. Im trying to put less velocity on my snair but then it takes away the one for the hats????

How can i lower one and not the other?

well if u are trying to do this while you are recording you gonna have to create your drum pattern then in the sequence box create a new track go over to the little box on the right and scroll untill u see redrum
click on it
know make sure that track is higlighted
then press record go to your redrum and move one of the pitch or vel. knobs while recording then press stop they should be like a purple box around the pattern section in your redrum
press play then it should turn green and it will be automated
but to get percise knob turning hold down the shift key while you move the knob and it gets it percise

yeaa this worked, dont know why i dint think of that because ive done this for other things lol. Thanks for the tip.

Another thing was my velocity problem, when i put down the velocity of my snair the hats lose velocity as well for some reason.

For the velocity problem, if the hat and the snare are in the same spot the bars are pretty much synced up so you can't change one with out changing the other. What I do is just move one of the instruments to the side a little bit so I can get hold of the velocity bar and adjust it to my liking and then just move it back in place. Hope this helps.
