Ah man, I went to see Detroit play the Wizards in D.C. during the regular season, for real Washington was giving them the business, they were up by like 15 in the 4th, word up, Prince and Big Wallace started going crazy, ended up beating D.C. by like 10 dunking everything, for real since then I've been with them, especially since BW played at Union, VA STAND UP!!!

I've been a Laker fan all my life and I had an epiphany last night......After the Showtime Lakers disasembled by the early 90's I was stuck rootin' for a crappy team for the longest. Then we finally win three straight Championships and were in the finals consistantly. As a fan of course I wanted them to win, and if any club in history could've came back after losing 3, it would of been them. But they didnt and I'm okay with that. I really dont care who comes back next year or not. No matter who comes and goes, I'll always be a Lakers fan and will support my team. 3 years in a row surely made up for years of agony! So I say congratulations to the Pistons. They WERE the better team and I end with this,,,,,,

i'm just pissed at the way they lost... they got BEAT, like, STOLE ON, STOMPED...... it wasnt even close.

kobe struggled and all but at least he had the balls to go all out in the face of it.

any how, i have liked the pistons for the last few years (ok, since last year) and new it would be a fight... but what they did.... was nothing short of spectacular. i dont think the league has seen something like that. i never considered them underdogs myself, and thought they had a legit chance.... but not like this.. in 5 games, and even then if it werent for kobe dropping that three in game two....

so, detroit just took this title. i cant wait to see what the offseason brings. i am hoping against hope that kobe stays (free, at any rate) and shaq gets traded for jermaine oneal (you8 can always hope) and we can rebuild on the fly.

he had complete control, went straight up and made a shot. lets not forget that he also dominated the overtime.

bums? hardly. the golden state warriors, now thats a team of bums....

what cracks me up is how HAPPY people are when they lose...

anyhow, detroit is a very likeable team at least, i inda found myself rooting for them after game three a bit. bottom line, the lakers deserved this loss.

I'm not saying I'm a Detroit fan, far from it! But I was just cheering for them because I can't stand Shaq and Kobe, I'm really tired of them. But seeing how Phil said he might not be back, and Kobe wants to opt out next season..... should make things interesting.

And is Malone finished totally? What's the news on that, is he hanging it up?

It's gonna be an interesting offseason for the Lakers.....

Heads are debating whether Shaq, Kobe, or Phil is gonna be there next year. Man, I don't even think DERRICK FISHER is gonna be there next year. I do think Luke Walton is a keeper though. A new offense and more playing time will show ya'll......

Poor Gary Payton, played himself into a permanant salary cut with his performance THROUGHOUT the playoffs, not in just this series. I'd be surprised if anyone would pay him more than what he makes now, so money wise he's stuck in LA.

Karl should retire and call it a very productive career. No Championship, but a great Career. Tell Patrick Ewing I said what's up. . I think he should have retired with John Stockton, but thats just me.

Forget Kobe's career right now, let's just hope that he doesn't go to jail. Don't know of any hall of famers that are in prison or have been to prison. Besides, it would be that much harder to get another title without Shaq, unless he's with Tim Duncan/Kevin Garnett/"any dominant Big Man here".


The Pistons victory is a great one just because my sworn enemy the media had the precious Lakers hoisting the trophy prematurely dispite their weeknesses that eventually did them in.
